Ammunition

Ammunition cannot be put in the garbage and is not accepted at household hazardous waste collection sites or at recycling and disposal stations.

Contact your local, non-emergency police department for information on proper disposal of ammunition. Call 911 in case of emergency. Some rifle and pistol ranges may take ammunition as a courtesy; call and ask to speak with a manager.
